The Short Version Pure Body Extra is easy to like at first glance. It's a nanosized zeolite oral spray with a label so short it almost feels like a relief: zeolite and water. But the label never says how much zeolite you're swallowing by weight. It runs about $77 for every 30 days at the label dose. And no human clinical evidence shows that an oral zeolite spray removes heavy metals from people. The brand does publish a lab report, which counts for something. It covers a single sample from October 2022, though. It is not a certificate for the bottle that lands on your doorstep. If you like the spray format and can live with some uncertainty, the 30-day empty-bottle guarantee softens the financial risk. If you need a dose you can verify, or proof of a health effect, this product offers neither. Zeolite, specifically processed hydrated clinoptilolite, suspended in pure water. No long list of unpronounceable additives to squint at. Then your eye goes looking for the dose, and this is where it snags. The label says 0.64 mL per serving. That's a volume. It isn't a weight. It can't tell you how many milligrams of solid zeolite actually pass your lips. It's a small gap on paper, but it colors everything else in this review: how to judge the price, how to compare Pure Body Extra with other zeolite products, and how much weight to give the brand's own lab data. We'll take those one at a time. What Is Pure Body Extra, Exactly? Touchstone Essentials makes Pure Body Extra and sells it as a nanosized zeolite supplement in a 60 mL spray bottle. Zeolites are porous aluminosilicate minerals, and the type used in this category is clinoptilolite. Its crystal structure is cage-like, and in laboratory conditions those cages can trade or trap certain positively charged ions. That bench-top behavior is the seed of the entire "zeolite detox" idea. If you'd like the mineral science explained without the jargon, our piece on how zeolite binds metals and what that does and doesn't mean goes deeper. There's also a sibling product, Pure Body, which states its zeolite content outright: 30 mg. Extra doesn't. Whether Extra holds more, less, or about the same amount of solid zeolite is something the label simply can't answer, and we're not going to guess. Ingredients: Reading Between the Milliliters What's in it Proprietary processed hydrated clinoptilolite (zeolite): 0.64 mL per serving Pure water A pattern in the numbers Something stood out when we ran the math. A serving is 4 sprays, and a 60 mL bottle holds 93 servings. Multiply 93 by 0.64 mL and you get about 59.5 mL, which is essentially the whole bottle. So the 0.64 mL figure appears to match the volume of the entire serving of liquid. To be clear, that's our arithmetic inference, not something the brand has said. If it's right, the number tells you how much liquid you spray, not how much solid zeolite is floating in it. The solid fraction is exactly what a milligram figure would reveal, and it's why we suggest asking the company directly (the questions are further down). What a short label does well No added flavors, sweeteners, or preservatives are listed. It's simple enough to hand to a clinician and explain in ten seconds. What a short label leaves out Solid zeolite weight per serving. This is the big one. Particle-size documentation. "Nanosized" is the brand's word for it. Particle-size data wasn't part of what we verified. Processing details. "Proprietary processed" isn't defined anywhere we could find. Four Sprays, Three Times a Day: Living With the Routine The label asks for 4 sprays, 3 times daily, so 12 sprays a day. At 93 servings per bottle, that stretches one bottle to about 31 days. Where the spray format earns its keep No powder to stir, no capsules to swallow Slips into a bag or desk drawer, so work days and travel don't derail it Dosing is countable by sprays instead of measured by scoop Where it asks more of you Three times a day is a genuine commitment. Consistency is the quiet killer of most supplement routines. Counting sprays is looser than weighing a dose, and the weight isn't disclosed anyway. Convenience is the product's most honest advantage. But even the smartest format can't rescue a dose you're unable to know. Does It Work? Three Questions Hiding Inside One "Does it work?" sounds like a single question. It's really three, and each has a different answer. Does zeolite bind metals in a laboratory? Yes. In lab settings, clinoptilolite can bind certain metal ions. That's the mineral's established chemistry and the strongest piece of the whole story. Our guide to how zeolite works walks through the mechanism. Does Pure Body Extra remove heavy metals from people? No human clinical evidence shows that oral zeolite sprays remove heavy metals from the body. Binding in a test tube is not the same as detoxifying a living person. Inside you, a swallowed particle meets stomach acid, digestive fluids, food, and a crowd of competing minerals. Metals also settle into blood, bone, and tissue, places an oral spray's contents may never reach. Whether any of that matters in practice hasn't been demonstrated for this product category in human trials. Is the product itself free of heavy metals? That's a different question again, and it's the one the brand's lab report actually speaks to. The October 2022 Lab Report: Reassuring, but Limited Touchstone Essentials publishes one lab analysis from a single October 2022 sample. In it, a full heavy-metal panel was not detected. What it's good for It's real transparency. Plenty of competitors publish nothing at all. It suggests the tested sample didn't contain heavy metals above the lab's detection thresholds. What it can't tell you It isn't an efficacy test. A clean contaminant panel says the product wasn't carrying metals. It says nothing about whether the product pulls metals out of a person. It's one sample. Manufacturing shifts from batch to batch, and one result can't vouch for all of them. It's dated. October 2022 sits about four years before our verification date. There's no batch-specific certificate of analysis for the bottle you'd receive. "Not detected" depends on detection limits. It means below what that lab method could measure. If you read the report, look for those limits. Think of it as a good first impression, not a guarantee of ongoing quality control. Pure Body Extra Price: The Honest Math Purchase optionPricePer servingPer day (3 servings)Per 30 daysOne-time$79.95about $0.86about $2.58about $77.37Subscription$63.83/moabout $0.69about $2.06about $61.77 Subscribing saves about $16.12 per bottle, roughly 20%. Every per-serving, per-day, and per-30-day figure above is our own calculation from the listed prices and the 93-serving, 31-day bottle. Here's the catch. The fairest way to compare supplements is cost per milligram, and we can't calculate it here because the solid zeolite weight isn't disclosed. You can compare monthly cost. You can't compare how much zeolite that money buys. And even among products that do list milligrams, a bigger number wouldn't prove a better result, since human efficacy data are lacking across the whole category. To see how other products handle pricing and disclosure, our six-product zeolite supplement comparison lays them side by side. If you'd rather check today's pricing yourself, it's on the Pure Body Extra product page. One thing before you subscribe: the lower price is tempting, but confirm how cancellation works and how the guarantee applies to subscription orders. The 30-Day Empty-Bottle Guarantee and the 31-Day Bottle Pure Body Extra comes with a 30-day empty-bottle money-back guarantee. When the evidence can't promise you a result, that matters. It protects you from paying for something you simply don't like. There's a small wrinkle, though. At the label dose, a bottle lasts about 31 days, and the guarantee window is 30. Before you order, read the exact terms on the product page. Find out when the 30 days begin, what counts as "empty," and whether you'd need to finish early or request an exception. A guarantee is only as good as its fine print. Who Pure Body Extra May Suit, and Who Should Step Back It may suit you if you are: Someone who has already decided to try zeolite and would rather spray than stir or swallow capsules A buyer who values a simple ingredient list and some published lab documentation A shopper comfortable with the cost and with an unverified dose, with the guarantee as a safety net Skip it or pause if you want: A verifiable milligram dose Proven heavy-metal removal, which no human trial evidence supports for oral sprays And talk with a clinician first if you are: Pregnant or nursing Considering it for a child Managing kidney disease Taking prescription medication Dealing with symptoms you attribute to metal exposure (see the next section) If You're Worried About Real Heavy-Metal Exposure A supplement is not a treatment for heavy-metal poisoning. If you suspect real exposure, don't lean on a spray bottle. Contact a physician or, in the U.S., Poison Help at 1-800-222-1222. Proper medical toxicology involves real testing and, when it's warranted, prescribed treatment. Be wary, too, of "provoked" urine tests marketed alongside detox products. Medical toxicology groups caution against them. Dietary supplements in the U.S. are not approved by the FDA to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease. Five Questions Worth Sending to Touchstone Essentials If the label's gaps are nagging at you, put them to the company in writing: How many milligrams of solid zeolite are in one serving? Can you provide a batch-specific certificate of analysis for the lot I'd receive? What were the detection limits in the October 2022 report, and which lab ran it? How is particle size measured and verified? When does the 30-day guarantee clock start, and how does it apply to a bottle that lasts about 31 days? Clear, specific answers would strengthen the case. Vague ones tell you something too. How We Reviewed This This review draws on the product label, the brand's published pricing and lab documentation, and our own cost calculations, all verified October 29, 2026. It does not include independent laboratory testing or clinical trials. Prices, formulas, and guarantee terms can change, so check the current product page before you buy. This article is educational and is not medical advice. The Questions People Actually Ask What's this going to cost me every month? At the label dose of 12 sprays a day, one bottle lasts about 31 days. That comes to roughly $77.37 per 30 days at the $79.95 one-time price, or about $61.77 per 30 days on the $63.83 subscription. How many sprays do I get in one bottle? A 60 mL bottle holds 93 servings of 4 sprays each, so about 372 sprays. How am I supposed to take it? The label says 4 sprays, 3 times daily. What am I actually putting in my body? Proprietary processed hydrated clinoptilolite (zeolite) at 0.64 mL per serving, plus pure water. That's the whole list. So how much zeolite is really in each serving? Nobody outside the company can say. The label gives a volume (0.64 mL per serving) but no weight in milligrams. The sibling product Pure Body discloses 30 mg. For Extra, the solid zeolite weight isn't stated. Has it been tested for heavy metals? The brand publishes one lab analysis from a single October 2022 sample, in which a full heavy-metal panel was not detected. It doesn't offer a batch-specific certificate of analysis for an individual buyer's bottle. Will it pull heavy metals out of my body? That hasn't been shown. Zeolite can bind metals in laboratory conditions, but there's no human clinical evidence that oral zeolite sprays remove heavy metals from people. I think I've been exposed to heavy metals. Can zeolite treat that? No. Supplements are not a treatment for heavy-metal poisoning. Seek medical care or call Poison Help (1-800-222-1222 in the U.S.). What if I try it and don't like it? There's a 30-day empty-bottle guarantee. Confirm the timing and conditions on the product page, since a bottle lasts about 31 days at label dose. Is the subscription really worth it? It saves about 20% per bottle. Confirm the cancellation terms before you commit. Products / Tools / Resources A few things worth having open in another tab, whether you buy Pure Body Extra or not.
